Book Pete Magma »   DJ Pete Magma aka DJ PM born Peter Joseph Amato, began Deejaying at the age of fifteen. Under the influence of DJ’s like DJ AM, Mix Master Mike and Kid Capri, he derived a unique style of play at a very early age. At the age of eighteen Pete Magma played his first venue at 2686 in Long Island. Opening for DJ Spinbad, he got a taste of what the club life could be like for a DJ and hasn’t looked back since. In the next two years DJ PM began playing at many clubs in the New York City area including but not limited to Home/Guest House, Plum, Nest, Pacha, Essence and Providence. Opening up for such DJ’s as David Waxman, Vic Latino, Above and Beyond, and DJ Skribble, PM became very versatile. Currently, DJ PM is able to play for any crowd, mixing anything from hip hop and house music to mash-ups and classics with his signature style. His style emulates the drops of Kid Capri with the mixing techniques of such house DJ’s as JP and Tiesto. He molds each song into his own creation, adding effects, drops and mashing up songs that you would never think to hear in a club all to keep the crowd on their feet and guessing. As a producer, DJ PM creates his own unique mash-ups and is currently being offered a position on the Crooklyn Clan’s Crack4DJs.net. DJ PM is also an executive producer working with many hip hop and house movements including an up and coming musically inclined movement called Legends in Training as well as a very promising talent who goes by Cashea Jones.

DJ PM recently opened up his own record label entitled Magma Records Corporation. Currently, he works alongside twenty-five time platinum engineer Phil Castellano and has two promising young talents signed, one of which will be airing on major hip hop stations nationwide by early September 2010! Also, PM recently signed with Rep Time Radio, an Internet based radio show that is listened to by over 10,000 people every Tuesday night! With a pending Sirius satellite contract, and a completely booked calendar, 2010 looks like it could be the year that this young talent takes over the DJ scene! From a media perspective DJ PM is currently being interviewed by Fetty Be of www.fettybe.com and is having his interview, biography and myspace page all featured and linked on her blog page. Also, DJ PM recently linked up and formed an alliance with Isreal Hagan of AList Entertainment NYC to form a powerhouse alliance of over 300 clients. Between them, the two men have over forty sponsors and an array of press representatives that will be featuring them in articles across both the Internet and in hard print. Currently, DJ PM is featured on clubplanet.com as a featured event headline DJ and is sponsored and endorsed by clothing mega companies Armani Exchange, Metro Park, and Republic of Couture. DJ PM is set to release his first CD in March of 2011 and is scheduled to have his CD release party in Miami on a date TBA. PM has held residencies at Home/Guest House, Aura NYC, Touch NYC, Hiro NYC, Suzie Wong’s Fridays, Room Service, Pacha, Ultra Lounge, Prime, Emperor of Hartford as well as cross country and International residencies in such places as Texas, Minnesota, Florida, Canada, and a semi-annual residency in Dubai. Guest appearances include Providence NYC, Providence Atlantic City, Catch22, Azza, Pink Elephant, Butter, THE POOL at Harrah’s Atlantic City, Prana in Tampa Bay, Honey Pot in Tampa Bay, Hotel Night Club in West Palm Beach and WMC Miami! At this rate, it won’t be long before this young talent is on billboards and magazines all over the Globe. With his foot in every possible doorway of entertainment, DJ Pete Magma is on track to not only make himself an acclaimed DJ, but also to become the next overall music mogul!
